Paul W. Wozniak

Mr. Wozniak is an executive Chairman of College Loan Corporation which he joined in 2008.  He is currently in his thirty-first year of actively working to provide financing solutions for student loans.  CLC is the seventh largest holder of education loans and offers lenders a comprehensive origination, marketing and administrative solution for private education loans.

In his previous role as a Managing Director and group head of UBS’s Education Loan Group he was involved in all aspects of investment banking for both federal and private education loans, including assistance on structural, economic, tax and legislative matters and corporate restructuring opportunities.  As an investment banker he managed over four hundred transactions involving the issuance of more than $120 billion of education loan-backed debt, primarily as lead bookrunning underwriter. 

Mr. Wozniak has been an active participant in the education loan community through his service on a major university system’s debt burden reduction taskforce, the Congressionally created Alternative Index and Market Mechanism Study Groups, testimony before Congressional Committees and Chairman of the Consumer Bankers Association Education Funding Policy Committee.

Mr. Wozniak is also Chairman of the Park City Angel Network, a group devoted to funding startup companies; a voting member of the Investment Committee of the Kickstart Seed Fund; an investment advisor of a Royalty Funding fund; and a Director of three companies.  

He holds a B.S. in Economics with honors from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce and earned his M.B.A. from Columbia University with a concentration in Finance.
